Thursday, October 2, 2025 10 Tishrei 5786

A series of offerings will be available to assist in reflection.

1:30–2:15 p.m.  Inherited Beliefs, Chosen Truths discussion w/ Susie Berg in the Millstone Library

2:00–2:30 p.m.    Singing Bowls with Maretta Shaw in the School Hallway

2:45–3:30 p.m.    Sermon Reflection & Extension with the Clergy in the Millstone Sanctuary

3:15–4:00 p.m.    Believing in an Unbelievable World discussion with Michelle Hastings in the Millstone Library

The writer, Corrie ten Boom once said, "Faith sees the invisible, believes the unbelievable, and receives the impossible.” Economic and political crises, coupled with a rise in technology like social media and the use of AI can make the world feel unsteady. It is hard to determine what is “real” and our faith and beliefs may become either stronger or more challenged. Come discuss what “Ani Ma’amin” means to you and share how you may wrestle with doubt or find confirmation in a time of rapid change and moral dilemmas.
