Depression-Era St. Louis: Legacies on the Landscape

Presented by Emily Troxell Jaycox, Head Librarian

Join the United Hebrew, Shaare Emeth, Temple Israel and Temple Emanuel Seniors lunch and presentation of Depression - Era St. Louis: Legacies on the Landscape.  Many St. Louis landmarks have their roots in Depression-era projects built as part of the New Deal. Some of these projects are visible today; others are still with us but are invisible to the eye. From parks and public buildings to tunnels and maps, learn about the variety of these projects and how they continue to shape the city’s landscape.

Lunch Menu: Turkey on croissant with lettuce, tomato & pickles ,vegetable soup (vegetarian based) with Oyster crackers , cranberry sauce, UH salad, and an apple blossom with vanilla ice cream for dessert.  Vegetarian “Turkey”  and Gluten free roll and dessert available.

Lunch orders are $10 each  must be placed by Monday, January 20 at 4:00 p.m. and be paid for in advance.
