Whether you are curious about or considering Judaism or still looking to answer those questions you’ve had since your days in religious school, Introduction to Judaism is a place to ask your questions, learn multiple perspectives, and discover what is most meaningful to you in Judaism.
Open to all, this course is perfect for interfaith couples, those raising Jewish children, spiritual seekers, individuals considering conversion, Jews who want a meaningful adult Jewish learning experience, and those who simply want to learn more about Judaism. You will explore holidays, lifecycle celebrations, prayer, theology, sacred texts and more with St. Louis area Reform Jewish Clergy. Questions are encouraged, and only curiosity is required.
Where applicable, we encourage partners/spouses to take the class together.
The course will meet for 16 sessions on Tuesday evenings from 7pm-9pm at United Hebrew Congregation.
The cost of the course is $72 per household (Please put 1 in the # taking the class.) Registration includes the course book, Honoring Tradition, Embracing Change: Introduction to Judaism Sourcebook Reader.
Please list in the Notes who in the household is taking the class.
(If the cost of the class is a significant financial burden, please contact your sponsoring clergy person or Esther Olson at eolson@unitedhebrew.org and we will work with you)
Sorry, Registration has ended.
